Antioxidant Consumption Linked to Reduced Skin Cancer Risk

According to researchers from Tel Aviv University’s School of Health and Rostock University in Germany, a diet rich in Antioxidants and Omega-3 fatty acids can help protect you from skin cancer.

Lead researchers Dr. Niva Shapira and Bodo Kuklinski found that Antioxidants and Omega-3 fatty acids help the body build up resistance to the sun’s damaging rays.

In the study, researchers analyzed the blood of two groups of volunteer subjects. All were exposed to the same amount of sun.

Those who consumed foods with the most Antioxidants had 50% less chance of the chemical in their blood that causes increased sun damage.

Researchers also noted that in the Mediterranean region where sunlight is intense, melanoma rates are particularly low – averaging 3 cases per 100,000 people. These researchers noted that people of the Mediterranean region typically consume a diet filled with Antioxidant-rich in fruits and vegetables along with Omega-3-rich staples such as olive oil and fish.

For ViaViente drinkers, the scientific evidence continues to confirm that consuming Antioxidant-rich ViaViente supplements your body’s health for a lifetime of health protection!
